Kryeministri Sali Berisha ka folur më në fund pas humbjes së thellë
që ka shënuar partia e tij në këto zgjedhje. Ai tha se pranon rezultatin
e zgjedhjeve, dhe se ai nuk mund të kontestohet pasi është i qartë për të gjithë.
“Nuk arritëm të fitonim në garën e 23 qershorit dhe për këtë që ndodhi,
përgjegjësia bie mbi një njeri të vetëm dhe ky jam unë, Sali Berisha.
Duke marrë të gjitha përgjegjësitë, kam vendosur që të jap dorëheqjen
nga të funksionet e mia në forumet e Partisë Demokratike”.
Ky ishte thelbi i fjalimit të shumëpritur këto orët e fundit nga Kryeministri
Sali Berisha, i cili pritej të dilte në publik pas humbjes që pësoi në zgjedhjet e të dielës.
Me një fjalim të mirëpërgatitur, Berisha deklaroi se do të qëndrojë në
Partinë Demokratike për të dhënë kontributin e tij, ndërsa e konsideroi
këtë fjalim, jo si fjalim lamtumire, por si një veprim normal pas
zhvillimeve të fundit.
Berisha tha se ky mesazh ishte i vonuar, por e justifikoi këtë duke
thënë se e bëri për të respektuar punën e komisionerëve që numëronin
votat e shqiptarëve.
Kryeministri theksoi se i bindet verdiktit të sovranit, i cili foli me votë
dhe votoi alternativën tjetër.
“Qytetarët votuan alternativën tjetër, sepse kundërshtarët kanë premtuar
shërbime shëndetësore falas, ulje të taksave për 95 për qind të popullsisë
e këto premtime ne nuk mund t’i bënim dot, sepse ato bien në kundërshtim
me barazinë sociale dhe me konkurrencën e ndershme”, tha Berisha.
Më tej, me bindjen se PD do të rivijë në pushtet, Berisha u shpreh se në
mandatin tjetër do të realizohen të gjitha premtimet e bëra për zhvillimin
e Shqipërisë, ndërsa bëri një panoramim të punës 8-vjecare në krye të
qeverisë.Po ashtu Berisha vlerësoi projektin TAP, si historik për fatin ekonomik
dhe zhvillimin e Shqipërisë.
